Whether you have given birth at home or in the hospital your care continues with the same midwife up to 6 weeks post-delivery. The number of visit may vary, depending on your requirement. Advice is always on hand for those inevitable queries day or night. The most wonderful aspect of our service is the 24 hours a day, 7 days a week accessibility to your own midwife on the telephone for the duration of your care. We also offer a postnatal care Package for women who have chosen to deliver in a private hospital and would like to receive their complete postnatal care from The London Midwifery Practice. As well as all your postnatal checks up to 6 weeks post-delivery, you will have access to your midwife 24 hours a day 7 days a week. At the last visit we will discharge you
to the care of your GP. At this visit you will be provided with
a complete copy of your notes for you to keep. |
